Our counsellor offers individual, family and group counselling sessions. Counselling is simply an exchange in conversation between the client and therapist, focusing on ways to change a pattern of thoughts or behaviours to produce a positive outcome.
Clients often seek the support of a therapist for a variety of issues. They may need help with mental health issues (anxiety, depression, etc), addiction treatment, grief counselling, relationship issues (romantic, family or with peers), troubles sleeping, sexuality and gender concerns, inability to manage stress, difficulty maintaining a work/life balance, struggles at work or school, anger, suicidal thoughts, and feelings of low self worth.
