Laura Szakacs was first lured to yoga in 2011, and was instantly drawn in by the lack of competitive effort required. The practice provided instant relief from years of anxiety and depression. As her practice also evolved physically, so did her curiosity for exploring different styles of yoga. Laura enjoys sharing the benefits of pure movement that yoga provides and the intuition it has rekindled in her from childhood. She completed her 200 hr YTT with Katie McClelland of De La Sol Yoga Studios in February 2018, as well as a 20 hr Restorative YTT with Charlene Rennick of Hot Yoga Stoney Creek in March 2018. Laura teaches an intro to flow class that is comfortable for all levels of yogis, and promises to move both body and soul.
Joanna fell in love with yoga after signing up for a beginner series at her local community center over 10 years ago. She quickly learned that yoga helped her detach from the hustle & bustle of every day life and tune into herself. Through the exploration of breath and physical movement Joanna was able to discover her strength and her soul. Her passion is to share this beautiful practice and show people how it can be used as a tool when working through challenges and obstacles. Joanna completed her yoga teacher training at De La Sol studios in Hamilton, ON 2018. Joanna is also trained in Reiki I and Natal Astrology.

She has her Second Degree in Reiki and is currently working on her Aromatherapy Certification. When Jenn is not in the studio she can be found bookkeeping for a few clients, walking her beautiful fur-baby, Rowan (THE cutest chocolate lab in the world!), or spending quality time with friends and family :)
Mary’s love for yoga began after attending her first yoga class at a gym when she was 14 years old. Practicing on and off for a few years after that, she started taking regular classes at a studio and was then hooked. Mary completed her yoga teacher training at De La Sol Yoga in Hamilton, ON in 2018 and loves all styles of yoga depending on what her body and mind needs that day. As a scientist at heart, Mary practices and teaches anatomy-informed yoga and believes that any yoga pose can help, and any pose can harm. When not practicing yoga, Mary can be found working as a Registered Dietitian, cooking, baking, lifting weights, and running on the Bruce Trail. She is also pursing Pilates instructor training through STOTT Pilates and plans to take Level 1 Yoga Tune Up training in 2019.
Hi my name is Casey Maloney. In 2007 my love for yoga started. I was first drawn to the movement of yoga, it was so beautifully different than anything else I had ever seen. After learning more about the practice I fell in love with everything it had to offer, not just the movement but also the ability to be still! I have always been described as a free spirit and very energetic. Luckily somewhere along the way I learned to channel that energy and freeness into yoga. The stillness in the practice was a sense of peace I had been looking for. Finally in the fall of 2017 I completed my 200 Hr Yoga Teacher Training and in the Summer of 2018 I completed my First degree in Reiki. Having a daily yoga practice is the Yin to my Yang life.
See you on your mats!
